JOURNALISM AND MEDIA

The collecting, writing, editing, and presenting of news or news articles in newspapers and magazines and in radio and television broadcasts for a broad audience. There are several fields in journalism

Broadcast Journalism

Broadcast Journalism is the field of news and journals which are "broadcast", that is, published by electrical methods, instead of the older methods, such as printed newspapers and posters. Broadcast methods include radio (via air, cable, and Internet), television (via air, cable, and Internet), and, especially recently, the Internet generally. Such media disperse pictures (static and moving), visual text and/or sounds.

Print Journalism

Print journalism is the dissemination of information and facts gathered through newspapers and magazines. Reports/stories are distributed to the public in text form, through print media.

Online Journalism

Online journalism refers to news content produced and/or distributed via the Internet, particularly material created by journalists who work for mainstream market driven news organizations.
