Botched: A Play by the Theatre of the Absurd Exposes dark secrets, empowers young voices on sexual health

December 19, 2023:  The University of Nairobi's Taifa Hall became a stage for raw truth and poignant exploration last week from 8th to 9th December, 2023 with the captivating drama "Botched," presented by the renowned Theatre of the Absurd; A joint initiative of the Faculty of Law and Department of Journalism, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. This powerful production, transcending mere entertainment, tackled critical issues of sexual and reproductive health, leaving a lasting impact on students and young audiences across borders.

July 26, 2023:  Prof. Samuel Mwangi Chege from Kansas State University, USA pays a courtesy call to the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Nairobi. He is welcomed by Prof. Silas Oriaso, Chair, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. Prof. Samuel Chege is an alumnus of the department. With them is Ms. Gladys Kitheka, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Nairobi.

July 25, 2023:  A team from Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) visited the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (DOJMC), University of Nairobi.
